Percentage vs mileage

    Better for who? Probably as an owner, percentage. That way if you book a low pay load, the driver shares the low pay, but a high pay load, he fares well. Lets face it, many shippers/brokers pay per mile, but, in reality the load is a flat rate. They simply change a $2000 rate in to mileage and,viola, you now are getting paid per mile. Then consider deadheading also for the driver, which he normally eats.
