Lol - I drove two trucks in 4 months... I thought I was traveling light until I swapped. Just a cooler, my briefcase (all the paperwork - logs, etc), laptop, clothes (one duffel) and a small box (1.5cube) for household gear and non-frige food). What killed me was the maintenance supplies - windex, broom, etc, I kept in the cubbies outside the cab. Lordy!
It all fit on the bunk of the guy giving me a lift from one truck to the other, but it packed in all the way up to the bottom of the top bunk. Good thing the trip was only an hour!
And I didn't even have my bike with me. -
My husband had enough stuff i his truck that when we went to pick up him and our daughter in Denver, we couldn't get all of it in my aunt's 96 Roadmaster STATION WAGON!! I don't have any clue how it all fit in that truck!

When my husband's truck broke down in Denver over the summer and he needed to get back to California to get his new truck, I suggested just renting a car. I got a great deal on rentals online and I pointed out that I could get him a minivan or an SUV for only $40 more. He insisted that the size we had in Hawaii would be fine. Really, a 2 door, economy budget? Who was he trying to kid? I at least convinced him to let me rent him a full-size car since it was only $10 more. He got to the rental place and quickly realized that he had way too much stuff to fit (who woulda thunk). He had to pay $160 more to upgrade to a minivan (vs my $40 upgrade online), and still had all kinds of stuff fastened to the luggage rack on top.

When I dropped off my last Knight truck in Aurora, I had my wife pick me up there. Fortunately, she brought the Power Stroke with the cap on it. I darn near filled the back of that pickup truck. I would have had to have a yard sale right there in Knight's yard if she had brought the Grand Cherokee!
And I thought I was traveling light???? :smt120
