Might wanna read yourself. Here is a paper that talks about how huge a grey area guidance is.

See, the thing is if it was regulation, it would be, well a regulation. It's not. My point is, getting into an argument with an officer over interpretation, the driver will loose 100% of the time. If you think he interpreted the guidance wrong, you fight it after the fact....

Are you paying attention or seeking it. There is no money in ag because yahoos keep the rates depressed running heavy so per ton rates stay flat, continue to haul out of processors like ADM Valdosta where an 8 hour wait is shrugged off as "Just rewrite you logbook" instead of charging accordingly, numnut bullhaulers with their fantasies of grander making #### up between lines of coke.
No thanks I'll leave that crap to the idiots believing they are living legends in their own mind.

Not man enough to admit you couldn't keep up with them so you trash them, classy. All you wanting IQ tests for truck drivers I've got a better idea, if you can't safely drive for at least 14 hours a day you don't get a CDL, one failed drug test you don't ever get a CDL. This isnt a high intelect job, simple common sense is all it takes to not kill someone. I get that the hos are somehow supposed to save us from ourselves, but you cannot put every facet of the industry and every driver in the same box.

Drive around for pennies an hour, barely scraping by, and you consider them classy?

Look I know some good guys that are still doing it. But the rest grew a brain, a modicum of self respect and got the hell away from it. Talked with a buddha while back sitting at DoeRun Gin cleaning up last years seed tto go to Chicasha in Tifton. Hoping he could get 4 or 5 more tons because he needs brakes on the trailer. I told him he was an idiot and should have been pulling dry Van's for a year. That rates are through the roof.

"Well yeah I know but then who would haul the seed"

Ag is still using terms like backhaul out of South Florida. Backhaul! If that does not demonstrate ag haulers are dain bramaged you might be as well.

But hey you can drive 150 miles without logging it so your like ubertrucker.

Soooo it's not so easy to solve?

Oh I see you just want to run them gums and get a rise outta somebody. In reality you have no answers no clue just hot air. Put your self above the lowly bull hauler as we are all on coke. Get it right it's toothpicks soaked in bells. Can you see how much your immaturity shows in those mud slinging post. This is really going to go no where as you realky don't have anything good to say. So you just sit and smile for the camera as I ride by doing what I do.

Right thats why most owner operators pulling hoppers have nice petes. I know bullhaulers who drive showtrucks day in and day out, hell look up v and s trucking out of corsica sd they might have a few pictures of a few of their trucks on there, they're freaking eye candy most of them. I've always been told told dry van was about the cheapest freight around but that's only from the old man who's been doing this for 30 years so so I'm sure he has no clue what he's talking about.
