Lol. Not with this company. However, I also pull dumps, vans, and roll off boxes.
scottied67 and dog-c Thank this. -
You should ask your company because of potential liability issues. If Swift will charge a rental fee, check also with Ryder or another trailer rental company (like mentioned above) for a trailer with a liftgate (if you need one). Might be a little more but worth having a liftgate for the big heavy items.

A driver just got fired for that last week

There was a time swift would let you use Pup trailers to make a move. I hardly doubt they do it any more but i know for a fact that either they did or someone stole the pup for a day for there own use either is possible but 99.9% sure the move was okay'd and the pup was cleared to be used for it.

I'm aware of that. I was just telling what he said. It's not uncommon for officers to be wrong.

OC, I would say, talk to rapid response, and they will probably have you talk to Risk Management, and then also talk to Dan Pierce there in Safety. I would bet that all of your questions will be answered. I would also be willing to say that if pulling their trailer, you will need a release from them to protect their trailer and that you are approved to pull it for personal.

I'd just go ahead and ask. They'll probably tell you you're too old though.

OC83,
When you do find out, please report back with what they said. If you got a yes, then what hoops did you have to jump through to get approved?
Thanks.
