    Jake- As a co driver no weapons were allowed. When I went OTR, I have seen what road pirates can do. After that I always packed hardware. Nothing big, Beretta F84 Cheeta .380. Its a nice "out to dinner" type pistol. Won,t kill right away, but stop any thug getting to me. Thank God I have nerver had to use it. "Better to have a gun and not need it, than to need a gun and not have it". Mike
