I agree whole heartily. However, at what expense? If it comes down to it, I will defend myself to the end. But if I start the physical stuff, it's my job, which will cost my house, my car, my life. These days it's not worth it. It's not 1955 anymore, heck it's not 1980. I work for a large company, those kinds of things will not fly these days. At times I wish I could just B-smack some jerk off.

They may need it, but I know I shouldn't be the one to deliver that message.

Same here. I truly feel if attacked, or sleeper invaded, I wouldn't stop fighting back until one of us were dead.

I still deliver it on ocassion..Whats the worst that could happen..?...Prison.?...Highly Likely..

Sue You.?..They will have to come to your state and apply..After a few days they forget and move on...It will cost them lots of money to come after you..

Fired.?...For what.Standing up for yourself as a MAN..?.Must not be a good outfit if they want someone to coward up..

Just some thoughts.I work in all of the Northeast. So up here these people are PIT BULLS.Sometimes you have to do what you gotta do up here..The people up here are very aggressive to say the least..

Yeah, fine you live there. You list NY,NY where you live. Ok, larger cities breed that kind of narcissistic attitude. I grew up in western MA, around Springfield, and started my driving career up there. Doesn't change the fact that if you start stuff it can lead to an undesirable effect. If I get into something physical, unless that person knocks me out on first throw, they will be in a hospital. It will be defending myself physically; not because some douchebag is yelling because he doesn't have his way.

The absolute worst that can happen? Death. Prison doesn't even come close to topping the list. And death only does, because people back home would be sad.

Actually, I know a bit about law. They can file in the state the altercation happened, your state, or theirs. Where ever they file, it would be up to you to show. If you don't, they win judgement.

It wouldn't be fired for standing up as a man. It would be fired for causing a negative image on the company you work for. It would be fired for breaking the law. Your driving a rolling billboard afterall. And the ones that suffer, are the ones at home depending on the check.

I to live in the North East. I wouldn't say people here are pit bulls. Not even close. Everyone round here is different. Heck, just during training week, I seen mostly happy people in all these locations: Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee, New Jersey (port), Baltimore, Flint, & Indianapolis. All that time, the only prick was this one trucker.

Poor advice. So many people are on hair pin triggers these days. Good way to get shot. Jacking someone in the face is a good way to get arrested and fired from your job.

If you feared for your safety bear spray in the face does wonders. I am sure a nice big old shot of that would put his attitude in check.
