If I ever land in a ditch it probably won't be from falling asleep or any other distraction. It will be because I can't help trying to kill flies while driving when they get in. Hate em.
I have 2 black hand towels that float around my truck. Flies can't seem to see them coming as well. Easy to kill them popping them with a black towel but don't try this while driving. Trust me.

Right now, stink bugs are a problem this way. I like to roll my windows down while loading or unloading. Yesterday, they were just all over my tarp(after tarping). Maybe they were attracted to the musty smell of the tarp that’s been rolled up forever. Well, while rolling from Greenville SC to Atlanta area yesterday, I was driving and one magically appeared on my window. I was about 2 miles from the scale house…. Turns out it’s closed. I pull in and jump out of the truck and try to quickly knock it off my window (drivers side).
While I’m swinging and flailing my hands and gloves at it, Georgia DOT pulls up…. He asks me “do you want me to shoot it?”

I’ve read a lot yesterday…. I’ve read mint and citrus smells keep a lot of bugs away… such as stink bugs….
I’m like @86scotty …. If you ever see me in a ditch somewhere, it’s because of a bug in the truck!!!!!!
