Sorry to say Crete no longer allows pets. Some were "grandfathered in", but it's no go for us new guys.
Yes, a lot of these carriers have changed their pet policy. I wonder if others have adopted pet policies? I get the whole, "could damage the truck" bit, but I always travel with my dog. She loves riding and occasionally licking the window (other people find it funny). My hope and prayer is to find a company that would allow mine.
Interesting bump.... But on topic Prime/Jim Palmer must have a lenient pet policy. Saw yet another JP truck with at minimum 5 cats piled in it the other day. Not the first time either...
If anyone lives in my region (AL, MS, GA, SC, FL, NC), Wiley Sanders in Troy, AL allows dogs. No restrictions, no deposits, just bring your pet to work. My baby girl has been riding with me since she was a pup and I'll never work for a company if I can't have my best friend with me.
Wiley Sanders must be a good company to work for. They get some bad press, but can't believe everything I read. Know anything about Dolphin Lines?
Old post, Crete currently (2017) has a pet policy allowing pets up to 60lbs with a deposit. I believe you also take a .05 cpm hit on your pay.
