On my quest to fix issues with this truck I have arrived at the windshield washers. The guys that repainted the truck (prior owner) painted over the nozzles. I have dug one out of the paint and see that it is a brass nozzle with a stub on the end. The stub has a screw driver slot on the end of it. There is a small hole on the side of the stub. Am I to assume that this nozzle just sprays up and over in the general direction of the windshield? At the Pete store, they showed me a picture of the nozzles hooked up to a hose and the hose threaded up into wiper arm.

How is this supposed to work? I tried to find some new generic nozzles but found none that spray up at a tall angle. Most are for cars that have very sloped windows. How can I get this solved? Don't care if this is OEM or no, just want them to be functional.

379s appear to use a completely different system.

if they're brass throw them in some paint stripper and let sit a day. you can aim the sprayer ,with that slot on the top of it.
