I wouldn't doubt it. Everyone hates on the emissions, and they do have their faults - but protect yourself with some warranties and you'll minimize the issues. Every year the systems get more and more reliable. Going to extremes to avoid emissions is just silly. Gliders are going to be required to meet standards soon, and gliders always have their own issues anyway.

Is there a way to run a vin to check on what's been done to an engine? I'm looking at 386 w/ a paccar. I've always had cat's so the paccar is a totally new thing to me. -

can any one a question about low fuel millage, I have a 2013 pete 387 ,with 440870 miles on it,loaded total 56.000 thousand lb.s averaged 4.3 mpg-backhaul I weighed 76.000 lb.s still 4.3 mpg, I burned 830 gallons fuel and used 45 gallons def fluid. total miles 3.800 ,

It is a very good engine. I have the mx 13 455hp. Got it with 57000 miles. It now has 300000 miles. Only issues have been sensors and things. Engine itself is solid.
