So I'm going this weekend to look at a Peterbilt 387. The truck is in good shape to my sight in pictures. If it turns out good I plan on buying it. But back to the question, one thing I don't like about it is it has the sissy grass burner exhaust. Is there a conversion kit out there to make it from horizontal to dual stacks? I'd like to go with 7" stacks to make the Cat bellowlol. If their isn't a conversion kit, what will I have to have?

A shop and a good mechanic can do what ever you want for a price of course. ....

What year is the 387?
Depending on your year and that wonderful DPF or DEF system. Its all depending on your year.

Im about to remove this one.
It has a few rusty parts and other broke from the bracket.
And since money is tight I'll do the grass burner exaust (temp fix )
And then I'll go back to the double stacks and pp muffler.Attached Files:

Hope they didn't cut brackets off cab. If they did dealer sales them. Have to pull interior next to door to find where they mounted form factory. 7" pipes are kind of expensive . Take off the price. Not to safe to sleep with weed burner exhaust. Always finds a way in the truck.

Any update on your 387 your looking at? -
I was about to mention that. I certainly wouldn't want to do it.
