like a kenworth most petes are not equipped with "fresh air filters" they have to be added in out of factory. if you check out www.cabfreshfiltercompany.com you can see different setups and where you can find it to buy one if yours doesnt have one in it. those need replaced as well if you dont have one, the evap coil and heater core are probably majorly clogged if it hasnt had one.

The older ones did not have a filter and after awhile the evaporator gets clogged with crap. They sell some stuff at ww grainger for cleaning the evaporator coils that comes in a spray can. You have to take part of the dash apart under the glove box to get to it and if I remember right the heater core is in the way. After the coils are clean it will probably blow your hat off. I like to run mine on recirc. I think it stays cleaner in the truck and maybe helps keep the a/c system clean too. My newer truck has the filter under the panel the others are talking about, my '90 379 ex-hood does not.

Im here because my 92 pet 379 cant find the cab filter
I remember a guy check my ac and clean something inside with spray (coil cleaner) -
Hey is a 25 year truck
Dont worry about cabin filter roll the windows down enjoy the ride making money . -
My 97 379 has a factory cabin air filter. There is a filter door at the bottom right of the dash under the glove box and to the left of the small window cut-out in the R door. The interior is American Class if that makes a difference.
