My favorite quote on the subject... "They're all pieces of #### when they break, and they're aaalllllll designed to do that" - Ernie the grease monkey that works on my cars... I know not a truck mechanic but still, he has a point.

The wirring in the T880 is garbage. Several of them have had to go back to kenworth to get complete harnesses replaced.... they are all still fairly new trucks. They were all autoshift. My assigned 2017 t880 18 manual hasn't had that issue, I dont believe the other t880 manual has had this issue either. 118k on it as I type this. Maybe it only effects the autoshift trucks. Either way the t880s my boss buys have their issues. The paccar mx13 is not the best engine in kenworth history either. The best kw trucks had the N14 Cummings or C15 cat in my opinion.

The more they overwork the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain.

Whats to hate about a old 97 International 9300 Eagle.

No one ever mentions them. One of the roomier sleepers and cabs out there. B4461CD8-8AB1-40C0-876A-32FA2EA8B304.jpeg

My port drivers prefer KW followed by freightliner with a hand full of Internationals. Not a single Pete in the barn...yet I always liked 'em...

Both are manufactured by PACCAR. Pretty much the same truck. It is really based more on your preferences. Good luck!
