They decided to warranty the injectors at first because I found out they had a bad run of reman injectors about the same time my inframe was done. They confirmed that there was in fact a bad batch and decided to warranty them. When the mech came to our shop to replace them, he stuck a borescope down to have a look and every single injector seat was irregular. They are supposed to seal with carbon deposits after a certain period of time, mine were blown out like a cutting torch was burning the iron until it finally burnt the seat right out on one hole. They replaced head and all injectors. It was actually a post in a thread I started here on TTR that turned me on to the bad injector/poor seat machining issue. I joined here just for that reason, to see if anyone else had that issue. My engine was a C-15 6NZ in an '02 T-800.
Ok my mechanic is going to pull all the injectors and take a look and see what’s going on. I will let you know if I have the same issue
We finally got it in the shop today and found that O-rings were broken on four injectors. He did a compression/leak down test and all the cylinders held air fine. Liners one and six have some scratches but nothing too horrible yet we put new O-rings and put it back together and the shake is gone and there was no miss bobtailing back to the yard, I will run a load tomorrow and see how it does. Hopefully that was my problem.
