I have a 2017 pete 579 that I found a small air leak coming from inside the engine area, it has the MX13 it's coming from this this white air line going into a small inlet that if I push the line down it stops. does anyone know what this is supplying air to. I am new to the MX13 engine.

The air line supplies air to the aftertreatment air shutoff valve. The air purges fuel from the Dosing line after regeneration or dosing is completed. Its one of the lovely push/quick connect fittings we all love. Due to engine vibrations they are prone to leakage. Dealer should have the exact replacement fitting or if you are inclined to a trip to the parker store may adapt to a compression style for a better fix.

aha ok thanks, just another great design by paccar.. still trying to figure out if it's the line or the brass fitting that's leaking, I am leaning towards the brass fitting being the issue..
Goodysnap Thanks this. -
Its not just Paccar, the whole industry uses these fittings to speed assembly. They just dont last on real world environment. You can try to cut back the line to see if it reseals. The oring is likely worn in the fitting.

after looking again it's leaking from the top of the quick connect if I push down on it like to remove the air line it stops, so probably will just replace with a compression fitting.. can't feel any air coming from where the threads go into.
