Peterbilt 589

I sincerely hope you recover from the repossessions and land on your feet. I truly believe you will be successful again one day!!! You are in our prayers.

 

I had one for 3 years it was a good truck. You can still get one according to my local dealer. At some point all of the narrow cab KW’s will be discontinued.

 

Do you believe that those posted 589 pictures are real?

 

None of the pictures that have been posted here are fake... By any means... To replicate the lighting angles and reflections off the paint and to make them look realistic would be close to impossible.. Yes you could get it close but there would be some little details that you just cannot replicate digitally that you are going to find a real picture... To photoshop the truck itself you would have to clip a 389 hood with a 500 series cab. To get those body lines to line up would take alot of time and effort to make it anywhere looking close to realistic.. Then those 2 pictures you snipped are going to have different lighting angles and reflections off the paint.. Then you have to color match the 2 paints and color match the differences in the colors between light and dark and not only match all those up but they have to match up all the lighting angles coming off the tires and reflections off the wheels and to match the entire lighting of the overall picture...then you are going to have to put it all on a trailer in a truckstop fuel island and match the shadows of the wheels into the blacks of the trailer..wheels are some of the hardest thing to blend in photoshop.. We are talking probably hundreds of hours of work to do this and it still probably wont ever look right if you know what you are looking at... the most recent pic @Long FLD is 100% a real picture without a doubt. Not even the greatest photoshop wizard (the guys that do it for a living) could ever make this picture look realistic.

 

All you have to do is get the hood to look correct in that picture..yet as in every picture it’s blurry where the hood meets the cab and the breathers look distorted.

Anyway, if you want to believe that’s the new 589 I’ll back off. Just think that you’re setting yourself up for disappointment.

You seem bankrupt already stalking me all over TTR..kind of feel bad for you..
