My guess is there is a reason they’re calling it a surcharge. When I ordered in April they had already gotten an email about a $2750 price increase in June I believe. I’m out of depreciation this year and I sold a trailer so the $1500 is meaningless to me at this point, I just need the truck by Dec 31.

I'm going to start writing that on my signed rate cons...."Prices subject to Change Without Notice"

I'm 100% sure that clause was never intended to be in regards to a price reduction, as that never happens.

Last November, I bought myself a 2019 Corvette on a whim. Two weeks later, I bought the wife a 2021 Camaro. Looks like my psychic prediction about everything going to ####, paid off.

Now if my truck lasts long enough to pay them both off, I'll be all set. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure I can sell them for way above what I paid.

And if communist China invades Taiwan, there won’t be any chips for 10 or 12 years , because the factories will be destroyed .

In a way, I would welcome the destruction of all computer technology--it's going to be the death of us.

Some smart person should be building an American chip plant. 12-18 months from now they start churning them out.

Yeah, you'd spend 12 to 18 months getting "environmental impact" studies done, then another 6 months begging for permits.
