If it's anything like GM it's an ebb and flow issue.
This week they might not get say ABS modules. Next week they got the ABS module that were held up at the ports but now are having trouble getting BCM's in. The next week will be power switches for the electric windows. The next week we will be back to ABS and so on.
At GM, for example Tuesday they were parking trucks because of some trim that goes around the wheel well wasn't available. Wednesday it was for the right headlights. We are now on layoff again. They won't say what parts, but rumor is BCM's are scarce.
So those trucks will be gone in a couple of weeks, but replaced with other trucks that are missing something different (or the same, just earmarked for a later shipment)
Again, that's if it's anything like what GM is doing.....bzinger Thanks this. -
They’ll be lots of brand new 2 year old trucks at the dealerships……

I got one building next week and another week after. I’ll let everyone know what happens. I did get approval to pick them up from the factory vs having shipped. Last year it took 3 to 4 weeks and the batteries were junk by then. Every single one of these parked trucks will have to have new batteries.
bzinger, Speed_Drums, Cat sdp and 3 others Thank this.
