I have a 2007 Peterbilt 386 and the passenger side dome light above the passenger seat doesn't come one when the doors are open. However it does work when turned on manually. The driver side light, door lights, and lights under the dash come on just fine when the doors open, it's just the passenger side light. Anybody have any ideas on what it might be?

    Door sensor/toggle likely went bad.

If the door toggle was bad, wouldn't no lights come on? Currently when either door is opened, the lights get triggered.

I'll bet it's the computer that controls the lights - especially if this light comes on when the driver's door is opened.

You would be suprised. Had one go bad in my ram 3500 and the wire stud to one light had corroded so no signal went through. Replaced the switch and it solved the problem.
