If the axle bore is worn. Try to find someone that can install the stemco bushings. I have a local shop that does it, in house or at your shop. I was impressed with the whole process. I have had the axle surgeon out also , and would take the stemco style any day.

The kingpin is the strongest single componet on a tractor trailer. Begging pardon. I have never touched a kingpin for being bad. 5th wheels certainly, sloppy like a overused #####. But kingpins?! Come on.
