    Daimier owns freightliner and daimier owns detroit, thats why freightliner goes with detroit.

    Not discrediting your experience with cummins, just saying.

    I've driven both, my nod goes to the Pete......I'd prefer it with a Cat engine though....Years back Detroit's were notorious oil leakers, but I guess no more.....
