    The key is balance.....And planning....

I may run another 7 years or I may just run until 2015.....And then sell the rig and the O/A......

My wife already runs part of her biz out of the house....She maybe running the entire publishing company from the house by then or before then....That happens....I'll shut my biz down and stay home for good......

I'm thinking of writing a "How To" series for Trucking anyways....I already have access to the publisher......Wife's family.....:biggrin_25525:

IIRC...There's some Intrastate operations that have to keep HOS logs...
When I ran my dump biz...I had to maintain a daily PTI and not go over 16 hours a day......

But I never had any HOS logs....I rarely went out of a 100 mile radius.....

You claim you make more money than those of us who don't run on EOBR's....I'm just demonstrating that you're not entirely correct in your assessment...

And we already know you run more miles than many of us....

Thanks for the answer you gave but now what does your logs show your average speed is? 60 mph at the end of the day?

Most drivers don't run that hard......Especially O/O's....It's not about the miles for us......We get paid per load....
Mileage rates help us to figure out our fixed costs on the loads/lanes to see if those loads are worth our time.......
