Nothing I said disputes any of that. Don't read more into my comments than what is there. Its all about facts and nothing more.
Fact: This thread is about trying to stop EOBR's from becoming mandatory.
Fact: Those who wish to make EOBR's mandatory can and do read this site just as easily as anyone else.
Fact: Your comments will be in this thread for as long as this site continues to exist.
Fact: Regardless of what you believe your comments were actually saying, your comments will be seen by those who are against your cause as nothing but justification for making EOBR's mandatory because they show all too well that it is too easy to break the law with paper logs.
So if you're still not getting the message after all that, let me sum it up for you. This is a public forum. If you honestly want to prevent EOBR's from becoming mandatory, you might want to keep the comments about how you won't think twice when falsifying your paper logs out of the discussion. There are those who have accused me of being a shill for the cause to make EOBR's mandatory, and yet your comments have done far more to promote that cause than anything I've ever said.
You want to help the cause? Maybe think about keeping the 'I cheat on my logs and I'm fine with it' comments to yourself. Just a suggestion from a guy who has been down this road in other industries and has seen what comments posted on the internet can do to harm one's cause.

Same goes for all the guys running E-logs and stating how they can "edit" them or how thier dispatchers "edit" them and they can keep on trucking. I sure hope someone out there see's my posts on this matter and they will quickly realize that EOBRs are not good for the industry nor will they help make the roads any safer. IF ANYTHING THE ROADS WILL BE MORE DANGEROUS WITH ALOT MORE FATALITIES BECAUSE OF THE ACCIDENTS. I need to call Yahoo News and let them know to read some of my posts.
LodiKen and TruckerSue Thank this. -

I thought it might be a good idea to look around the We The People site and see what petitions are getting any kind of real traction there. So which petition currently has the most signatures on that site? This one: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/pe...ca-and-create-its-own-new-government/BmdWCP8B
If we're going to believe the petition to stop EOBR's is going to be effective, then I guess we're going to have to say goodbye to Texas as well. -
I think that would be interesting, think of the chaos that would cause.

This EOBR thing is an important issue. But there are so many other issues on that site which currently have more support, it really makes one wonder how the President will have time to give our little issue the attention it deserves. He's going to have a lot of work to do before he gets to us. A suspected pedophile will get a national holiday. We will have a legal system consisting of judges on motorcycles. Scientists will work on engineering domestic cat girls. The President will attend a party and some guy named Ben will get a new social security number. Kind of sad that all of those currently have more support than the EOBR thing.

Hey, I don't love the elog. I accepted it. And it's not for everyone. Point I'm trying to make is there are not the devil people make them out to be.

As of right now,
they have 34 signatures..........

Perhaps you like getting pushed around by dispatch.
Perhaps you remember what brought this about in the first place, or maybe you do not.
Do you remember some years back when a large company I won't say who it is here, but the name starts with a K.
There was an accident in Florida where the truck driver killed 4 people, the occupants were the children of one mother. The truck driver ran into the car while it sat behind a school bus with it's red lights flashing.
I will never forget the grief in that woman's voice, it was the most heartbreaking thing I ever heard, seriously, she could not hardly speak words, the only way I can describe it, is it was total and complete grief.
The reason given for the accident by the driver was that he was being pushed by dispatch and was forced to drive and drive and drive, he had no rest and would not stand up to dispatch.
EOBR's help to empower drivers against being abused by dispatch and prevent drivers from being put into dangerous situations, well those drivers who don't know how to stand up for themselves. -
Are you talking about the Crete accident in Lake Butler FL? It was 7 kids that were killed.
