It is not new information to me, it is a supporting statement to my argument that the statement indicating that a driver is not limited to driving his vehicle to a safe haven when out of hours was weak. Those of us who have actually driven trucks know that there are many situations where calling a wrecker to move a truck we are fully capable of driving (if not legal due to HOS limitations) would place us into an untenable position vis a vis our employment chances in either continuing with our current employer or locating another employer who will employ us after our current employer releases us from employment and places a negative report on our DAC report.

But since my argument was directed to actual drivers, I can easily see how you may have become confused.

That's all true. But none of it is the LEO's problem and none of it makes the argument that the LEO is trying to trump federal law any less incorrect.

Its so cute when you try to be all edgy and clever like that.

Oh yeah, I freakin' adorable, just ask anybody!

But what does my level of cuteness have to do with the debate at hand? Or have I completely distracted you? Must be my amazing eyes.....

It means that when your only argument against the things I've said is to say that you don't believe I'm actually a driver, then you have no valid argument. Nice try though. Better luck next time champ.

Awww! Did'ums somebody get himself offended?

Look at it this way, jgremlin. The more time you waste exchanging petty insults with me, the less time you have to piss off one of our more serious forum members who are discussing something actually important and that you have thus far demonstrated little to no knowledge of.

    How about this?

Mandatory EOBRs equate to higher rates.....
So if I'm forced to have one...My minimum rate should be $4/m......

    Company drivers as a minimum......$1/m.....

Sounds fair to me.....How about the rest of you?

Btw.....My insurance premiums should drop by 50% as well, if I'm forced to have a "Baby-sitter".....

    volvodriver01 and brsims Thank this.

works for me, WCP. No way company drivers are ever gonna see a buck a mile, though. Carrier owners might have to make do with last year's model Mercedes!

Actually quite the opposite. I LOVE it that you think I'm not a driver. Makes me laugh. A lot.
