Yep. And the TCA (Truckload Carriers Association).. the Trucking Communist Association. And the ADSS (Alliance for Driver Safety and Security, so-called), is the Alliance for Driver Scrutiny and Subjugation.


I can deal with outside groups like PATT, CRASH, and others dole this stuff up. That is what they are all about. You know who you are dealing with. But when trucking groups, so-called, are racing to jump on the nanny state bandwagon, it is a whole different thing. As with the bigger picture, the biggest threat to the American people is not some muslim with a bomb, it is the US Government. And with trucking, the main threat is not some politically charged citizens group, but the trucking organizations themselves. For instance, the ADSS was formed by Schneider, Knight, JB Hunt, Maverick, and US Xpress for the SOLE purpose of lobbying congress for an EOBR mandate. Now that it got into the Highway Bill, this group has set it's sights on speed limiting trucks and hair follicle drug testing. Now, how does all that match up to the name... Alliance for Driver Safety and Security? Might be argued somewhat the safety part of the name, but security? What about all of this makes the driver more "secure". Obviously, it has nothing to do with drivers and only to do with carriers.
