    My tractor brakes have froze to the drums. I try to park on level ground and chock the wheels and leave brakes released for an hr or so until whatever moisture is present freezes. Or if i forget to slightly drag brakes to dry them before parking

    They pay the mechanics to work on the trucks and trailers. I get paid by the hour waiting for repairs, so I'm not working on it. That's just me though.

    I forgot about this thread. It turned out that ice was in the break chamber itself. They had to glad that out so brakes would release. Was 8 hours of breakdown pay. Turns out that rubber plug in front of air chamber was missing so water, spray and whatever got in there and frozed.I bleed my air chambers daily and hope for best. Happy in warm weaher now.
