Sure they can read...they can write too. Mine is currently working on his dissertation for his Doctorate of Philosophy.

I always remember the CR England female team I encountered at WalMart a few years back. Two chicks, two cats. The one that came in with paperwork reeked so bad of cat piss, as she walked out the door, the Walmart rep. handed me a can of Lysol to spray down the hallway and counter. They then proceeded to call CRE about that driver how disgusting she was. They even politely told her she could leave the property and bobtail to Johnson's corner to clean up. Based on the smell, I felt bad for the two cats.
PoleCrusher, Sirscrapntruckalot and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -

I ride with a dog and will turn down a job if the dog is not allowed with me. Let me explain that reasoning.
The dog is actually my husbands dog. She is a 10 year old rat terrier. My husband is currently stuck in another country while we work with an attorney to get him back home. It is going on 2 years that he has been gone and we are looking at at least another 2 before this issue is finally over. She is not destructive in any way or a distraction while I'm working, she just sleeps, and if I had another viable option for her care until he comes home, I would go that route as I am not particularly fond of having her in the truck. I do not take her out of the truck at a customer/shipper/or receivers property. I also do not parade her around to meet other people everywhere I go. She is a fun companion but I am OCD about keeping my truck clean inside and out and having her in the truck makes more work for me to keep it as clean as I like it. She is basically my husbands child and I am not about to unload his 10 year old dog for a job when there are plenty of other companies/jobs that will allow me to either take her with me or be home enough to care for her at home. For me it is not about the companionship. It's about necessity. There is enough strain on our marriage already with this separation and I am not about to add to it by getting rid of his "family" for a job that can easily be replaced. You would have to be offering basically the best job that ever existed for me to change my life in order to work for you.I work to support my lifestyle. I don't change my lifestyle for a job. If I make less money but I am able to enjoy my life more than I would with a higher paying job, I will take the lower paying job without any regrets.Last edited: Jan 1, 2019
