Ahem. I'm just going to ask.... To add 2,000 pounds of weight, each of those 8 dogs would weigh 250lbs. That is essentially saying she was driving around with eight, 250lb Presa Canario dogs in the truck cab. Seems unlikely in the extreme.

You should have allowed the rooster. I would love to hear about the rooster that laid an egg.

She had some very big dogs that don't belong in confined spaces. Bigger then your every day dog.
I"m sure there was other sheet she was packing also.

Whatever it was. She was 2,000 pounds heavier. I seen her empty 3 axle scale ticket.

Pray tell how does 2,000 pounds of dogs equate to 4,000 pounds of lost payload?
Must be that new math I just heard about......

    What is heavier?
A ton of feathers or 2000 pounds of lead?

Guess you missed the post above yours.

How about the food required to feed those dogs would be one of those things. I'm sure she was packing more then 1 days worth.

I was referring to what you posted here:

"One company I worked for. Lady had 8 dogs on her truck. Those 8 dogs added 2,000 pounds to the truck.

Pulling a tanker. And not being able to distribute the weight. That's not only 2,000 pounds less on the truck. That's also 2,000 pounds on the trailer. 4,000 pounds less load she could haul."

Well, Let's see. Count the dogs. The food. And whatever else she had to go with those dogs.

    Metallica88 Thanks this.
