Man I see why truckers are viewed as incompetent hicks. I don't recall such Idiocracy in the past about proven science and health. I mean if chemotherapy results in your daughter, mother, son or brother living past cancer would you oppose it. Evolution people is inevitable. Just to think there were/are people who think woman belong in the house and black people belong as servants. C'mon people you truckers are quick to pop an aspirin, drink a soda or eat a hotdog and most of the ingredients in those items you can barely pronounce let alone figure their origins. But now all of the sudden you're against big pharma, science and medicine? Sheesh guys. We're in the predicament because of vaccine hesitancy but I'll never forget if it wasn't for the refrigerated trucks transporting the vaccines we would have 600,000 more people dead. I didn't want to get the vaccine AT ALL. But I thought about my kids, my in-laws, my fellow co-workers and the general society. If I get the vaccine then I can transmit it. That part aline will save lives. And if I'm vaccinated I won't die and leave my kids and wife behind if I should contract the variant. And you're pissed shippers, consignee and warehouses are rude to ya? Because of piss poor ideologies like most I'm reading up here. You won't wear a mask, you won't social distance, you won't wash your hands and you won't get vaccinated! You're failing as a human and it's unamerican.

YES! Shame on every single one of yall that's spewing this nonsense. Again I didn't want to get vaccinated because I had/have serious trust issues. I sat that selfish bs to the side and thought about my fellow citizens, co-workers and family. Ok since "shame" is what you'd like to counter argue against then for the sake of YOUR argument and I'm asking from a genuine place of GAF did you and your love ones get vaccinated? Don't take cheap way out and say it's between you and your doctor or it's none of my business. If you did or didn't explain why?

 

To be ABSOLUTELY CLEAR. I'm not calling truckers "incompetent hicks"! I said we're viewed as such. I constantly explain to anyone that'll listen to what we have to go through, subject to and the risks of losing it all for a simple small mistake. Most are shocked at the bs we put up with. From DOT, FMCSA, Local cops, general public and insurance. Trust me I looooove this industry. And I support our cause which is to pickup and delivery freight safely, expeditiously and lucratively.

WHO are you waiting for to "prove" science to you sir? A doctor, lawyer, cat or another trucker? Your trust seems to be selective as to what YOU WANT to believe. I'm glad you took the time to piece apart my post. Very subjective. FACT... the science is settled. It's a FACT (not your opinion) that the vaccine saves lives against covid and the variants. FACT... it won't save ALL lives because we all don't have the exact genomic structure or the exact replicated immune system. Why do you think they make different antibiotics? ! Different medications for different folks. And you just gotta love the fact that mist of you have had your kids vaccinated before they attended school. Where was this energy then? And if they didn't have the vaccinations they didn't enter the schools. Same case here. If you have a problem with the vaccine FINE. But if you get denied service, find yourself unemployed or face ostracization you get what you get! But stop filling up the hospitals and getting IV drips without asking "what's in it and is the science proven"! And when the medical physician tells you yes I want you to reject their answer, question their integrity, dismiss their education and training and get up and leave so those that want to live can have that bed and service.
