Interesting mixed reactions here. Personally I would rather spend 10 seconds at a kiosk than 5 minutes in a line, even if that technically means "I'm doing Pilot's work for them".

skibum_63 and Studebaker Hawk Thank this.

They don't fuel your truck for you.

About the only two places with full service fueling seems to be the Big Cabin Travel Plaza and the T/A in Mt. Vernon, MO.

I wonder why people scream about PFJ,
WHY ARE YOU SPENDING YOUR OWN MONEY THERE?
Yes company drivers have to fule where told, but you don't have to shop there.

They do? Didn't know that but then I've never actually fueled there. Have at the two I mentioned.

I dislike them also, like at some of the Walmarts, try to avoid them.
But like others have mentioned, If I have a choice between doing it myself or waiting for 5 minutes. Ill use it.

Conversations on the more liberal websites indicate a growing appreciation for the idea of a National Minimum Income, in part due to what they believe is the possibility that we're past Peak Jobs in which automation plays a part. Might even be floated as a campaign issue as early as the 2016 cycle but I'm thinking sometime in the 2020's is closer to it.

Sometimes I wish I was 91 not 41. If any of that happens at least I would be 6 feet underground.

Sounds awesome to me. I can get paid $40,000, get a 4% raise every year and sit home and watch Gilligan's Island reruns while the robots do all the work. Sign me up brother. Seriously.
