bring in one student a week??? shoot there were 6 in my orientation. as for the % i for one will never go back to a per mile pay. i run less miles and make more on the %. figured it up for a friend of mine.. i average 1500 miles a week and make (depending on what the loads pay to the truck) roughly .65$ a mile.
only times i ever sit n wait are at the ports and steel mills.PDI Graduate Thanks this. -
how about an update, how's the money and treatment?
-
update: sorry haven't had the time lately to get on. managed to get thru the dot fundraiser painlessly. truck was broke down was why ha ha.
i got no complaints about the money or the treatment or the company either. only ever sit at the ports or a steel mill and that sometimes is a welcome blessing. run run run run. hauling alot of wallboard loads lately, which is cool. they are easy loads.
working with my f/m about getting the 4th off near my kids and new grand baby. which really looks promising, they doing everything they can for me at least.
found a home; and they will have to haul me off in handcuffs kickin and cryin the whole way to get me to leave. far as i'm concerned % of the load is the only way to go for pay also. work smarter not harder1catfish and PDI Graduate Thank this. -
