The hazmat company is Southern Pines.

If you want to run Canada and "west" I'd say go OTR. They don't haul too much west though I don't think. Some Arizona and Texas though.

I ran to Canada and back 3 times while I was in training. I'll most likely be going up there...after I get myself situated (first driving position here).

I posted the same questions on another PGT thread, so be patient with me, just looking for advice. Currently hauling boats out of Florida. 10 years CDL B, with 6 months on an A driving the tractor. Mid Atlantic and Gulf coast, Jersey to Texas. Former crane operator / rigger, looking to stick with oversize or special. Moving to Northern Virginia soon. Do you think PGT will give me a shot, or do I need more time in the semi?

I hate to say it but I will never again recommend a experienced driver to pgt. They have now require everyone no matter how much experience go out with a trainer. Don't get me wrong I still work for the company and am treated fairly but I don't see a need in making experienced guys go out with trainers to boost the trainers paychecks.

I had a chance to ride with PGT after getting my L's and F'ed up. That was a 1 1/2 years ago. I'm kicking myself for that. Haven't gotten another offer since

I just finished at Monaca PA for orientation as a I/C with exp. from Roehl Flatbed/Specialized division, they did not make me go out with a trainer at all. I am not sure about the person that you refereed to PGT on there exp. but I was not forced to go out.
