Pgt trucking

How are you liking it there at pgt? I'm considering going there but to be a L/P driver

Keeping my eye on them as well......starting school (again) in 5 days, and looking into a few different companies, trying to shorten the list!

 

I guess he didn't like them or they are keeping him to busy to reply.

 

I am currently with PGT, come over here from TMC. Im on a dedicated customer account with them called Vesuvius Fleet. Its all mileage pay, typically we get more than the other fleets due to the amound of miles we run on a full week. Easy 3000+.Most Ive ran in a week was 3600-3700. Home weekly if I want to be, always get a reset in each week as this fleet doesnt like to run recap. It really wouldnt work well on recap seeing how all our freight is time sensitive deliveries and must be there on time. Got any questions ask away, ill answer what I am able to

 

What does pgt test on first day of orientation? What kind of backing do they make u do?

 

I didn't have to do a baking manuver at all. All i did was a drive test. If your a rookie straight out of school, you'll do all sports of backing manuver with your trainer

 

Are you happy with PGT? I'm tryin to decide between them or Melton.

 

How much time do you have to be with a trainer ? newbie / is it out and back or do you stay out? don't much care to sleep in truck with somebody.
