Bro. Leave the industry. All you are doing is complaining no offense but go drive a cab.

Destroying clutches rocks! Being at a much higher risk for accidents rocks costing your company money! Teaching someone the expensive task of driving a 53' tractor-trailer and then having them get pissed off for actually having to pay for it via wage deductions rocks!

They sent me to a community college for the CDL, 4 weeks. Then they trained me for 4 weeks and put me on the road with a driver, 3 weeks.

It would be nice to have a hotline for newbies to call in the first few weeks, instead of being on hold with Extended Ops, but Pretty good training, I have to say.

trucky909, hang in there, the money will come. You are getting valuable experience and getting paid, even if it isn't a helluva lot. Be outstanding in your job, because every job is an audition for the next, better job.

I don't know much about CRE other than the horror stories online, but didn't you know what you were going to make during training? Your getting the equivalent (hopefully) of thousands of dollars of training, I would assume your expenses are basically just food and your being paid! At 3 weeks you must almost be done. 8-10hrs is a normal day man! It's almost over, deal with it and when your through training, CDL in hand then decide what to do.

I'd factor in that you didn't have to pay a dime for schooling as compensation in addition to your $300. Of course CRE sucks but you went there of your own free will. Suck it up and rough it out. Maybe CRE considers your free school part of the $600 they promised LOL
