Yes, you were an idiot for going with England, both you and the guy above me, but, if you still wanna do this job, then it's time to start using your head. You don't owe CRE anything, they don't care about you, and there are companies that they do that don't treat/pay people as lousy as they do, so don't feel obliged to appreciate what they've done to/for you. Here's a really important thing that is better to realize sooner rather than later with this job. No one has your back. You aren't going to find a company that treats you like family, that's just a lie that dumb people use to make themselves feel better now. Every company that hires you is looking at you as potential profit, and anything nice they do is only to keep you around for more profit. There is no driver shortage, companies do see us as a dime a dozen. The FMCSA and DOT is only looking to regulate you and fine you, I've never heard of anything they've done lately that actually helps drivers. Your wife probably won't even understand how hard this job actually is. You need to do what's best for you.

If someone else will hire you, don't think you need to pay your dues. I don't think very many people finish England's contract, you'll just pay them back. If you're not making at least 30 CPM, then you're just increasing the problem of people driving for crap wages, keeping rates low in the industry. Companies generally aren't going to wonder why you left CRE. I think I'd have to meet anyone that actually finished a contract with CRE. I wouldn't know whether they had a huge amount of integrity, or they were braindead, because I'd assume the latter option every time.

This job sucks buddy. You need to make every dime you can to make up for it. Don't believe everything you hear out here, and make sure you save some money up, especially with that family. You never know when you're not going to have a paycheck out here for some reason.

I quit cr England after 1 in phase 1. My trainer took a #### in the trailer right before going to pick up a load of floor loaded lettuce. It disturbed me and a day later jumped off the truck. I haven't paid them a dime for the school, which I had to go through twice because of their crap. You should be having your cdl mailed to you, if not go home and pray for the replacement. Move on to better things and stop them from walking on you. A side note you should feel lucky to even get a pay check. I knew several people the got into phase 2 and never had a pay check

    Brandson Thanks this.

Granted, you ain't getting paid very much, but you put yourself in that situation. To compare it to slavery is absurd and ignorant. Those enslaved never signed up for it and sure as heck never got one penny for it.

Next time do a little research before jumping into to something. And think about what you are comparing your own ordeal to before actually voicing it.
