Thanks on all the congrats. Monday morning I went down to the local DMV to take my tests and switch from the az license back to my home state California. I had to take 4 tests. A 60 question general knowledge cdl, 20 air brakes, 20 combo, and 18 question for class c. Cost me 66 dollars plus 5 for the h-6 form to fax back to Lynn. Passed em all. Boy I miss az mvd. I had to wait in a 30 min line to get a number to wait another two and a half hours. Then fill out paperwork, take a photo, fingerprint, and take the tests. All in all I got there at 9 left at 2 and spent 71 dollars. The price of productivity. I hope you all are doing well. Now I'm waiting for orientation on Monday at 7 am. It feels cold only being 75 here after that Arizona heat. Anyway good luck to you all keep me updated.

Glad you got all that done tilskie, I heard that was an ordeal to go through in CA. Any idea when you get a mentor? I guess you still have orientation to do though. Going ok here, today was the last range day for my class, Monday is first road day so tomorrow is day off! I got Bob as an instructor. Looks like basically everyone in the class in front of me passed yesterday and today, so geckolyn must have did well.

Well, I passed. Thank god that's over. It's nice to sleep in for a while. Need to go to orientation on Wednesday. I hope a mentor is available. I would like to get one that is cool and really wants to train, but I do want to make money.
angeleyesinfl Thanks this. -
So I just heard that while Swift ramped up on drivers, they didn't ramp up on mentors. So, looks like I might be sitting around for a while. I hpoe not.

i finished orientation on wed. Got coded and official start date was the 28th. Called the developmental fleet supervisor to get hooked up with a mentor and shes reluctant on giving me an estimated date. But the class in front of me for orientation was waiting about 5 days plus. So im not quite sure how long its gonna be. Who knows. Orientation here was only 8 people. And everyone here seems pretty nice except for the developmental fleet dm. Maybe she was just having a bad morning. I hope lol. Anyways just sitting around till then. Congrats gecko and good luck today az. bobs a pretty cool guy. let us know how its goin
