Last night I parked in Wells, NV. Tonight, after a mere 644 miles, I'm at the J in Ellensburg, WA. Pretty full and pretty dusty. Only 117 miles til customer.

I did notice that on the west side of the road (on 60 out of Phoenix) there was a lot of concrete culverts being built. Guessing that I-11 is coming. That and about a 40' wide portion of the shoulder was cleared of vegetation.

Probably just sit back and enjoy the day. Maybe take a walk.

Uh boy. My load wasn't hazardous, but some beurocrat decided that ALL loads need full chemical gear to unload. Rubber bibs and jacket, reflective vest, hard hat with face shield, safety glasses and gloves. Plus they wanted me to provide my own wheel chocks. ????? That's a new one. All in all, it was about 2 1/2 hrs. Another new one. I had to blow the hoses clear back into the trailer. I completely filled them up. No room to purge my hoses. Worked out ok also, as I think I *might* have a 7 to 10 gallons heel.

Now on to Portland OR and the tank wash. Load tomorrow goin back to IA, then a few days off.
