i once saw what i thought was a lead trailer with it's pintle hook UP/not latched on the njtpk. i couldn't keep up as i was governed to 65. So, i got on the radio. The doubles apparently did not have a radio or was not turned on. But alot of other drivers (many of whom could go faster than me) did.
NO ONE took this with any urgency.
After several miles i figured that if the trailer had not become detached by now, it must be ok?
