On Schneiders own website for teams top pay is .49 a mile split (and that's Schneider miles) and 5000-6000 miles a week.
Everything would have to go perfect for a Team Driver at Schneider to make $1500 according to Schneider's own numbers.
I paid better than Schneider and I'll leave it at that.
But $3,500??? Lol really dude? Show me company team drivers earning $3,500. I'll turn my truck in tomorrow and go join.
My drivers goal was to eventually get a truck and go O/O, not to team with me long term. By teaming with me he earned more vs old job and saw what's going on with Schneider being choosing to commit.
Win win for both of us.

Complaining about @freightwipper posting his numbers then demanding to know what he pays a employee. Can't have it both ways

That's pretty silly to think you deserve $3500 to be a 2nd seat and if you think you aren't being compensated fairly then have fun running your own truck.

Personally I think @freightwipper is silly posting his numbers here...he's got too much of an ego to let people criticize him...but I have little doubt that his 2nd seat probably had a pretty good gig.

Personally I'd probably pay a percentage with a cap on the high end a guarantee on the low end. $1000/week guarantee $1500 cap. If you got a better gig lined up more power to you.

Percentage also gives the drivers the incentive to look for good loads during down time. As far as ego goes, nobody here should have an ego pulling an orange trailer lol.

And yet they keep voting for them. The majority of our population can not grasp these simple concepts and keep screwing themselves over.

Jacking up the minimum wage is the fastest way to eliminate the middle class.
