Kenworth charged me $370 for a B service. Dunno how that might compare but it's something.

I was also told when I started thats a choice board is the most profitable side of Schneider right now for everyone now whether that's the truth or not is anybody's guess

Well Schneider isn't exactly known for paying it's company drivers well.
The highest paid OTR driver I bumped into here said he's getting .37 a mile.
    Noobs said they're at .29
Average pay at best on the company side.

You will never convince the lease haters.

    Continue on.

My opinion is mine. I'm not telling you not to post yours.

You will learn at SNI nothing stays the same. They will and have changed the load board and will continue too.

Think about what you said about nat.

What difference does your nat matter if the freight is better 200 miles away and worth the deadhead you will deadhead to it which then negates your nat.

In some cases it is worth to deadhead a lot but for me not usually.
Two days ago I drove a little over 150 miles to do a 50 mile load and it was worth it.

I can use today for example.. I'm going to end up in Green bay later in the day.
Most of the good loads were morning live load appointments which I couldn't meet.
There was really nothing later in the day.
Schneider messaged me bothering me about my NAT saying "Good morning your NAT is going to expire today.. you don't plan on picking freight today please push out your NAT".
I updated my NAT and just move it up one hour.
Within oh 30 minutes I check the board again and taada one of the live loads I wanted is now a pick up relay drop and hook at Green Bay and I booked it.

Of course I can only guess but if zero drivers were showing available I doubt Schneider would have sent a local driver out to get live loaded for a relay and instead would have probably just rescheduled the load.

In other words I do THINK Schneider uses NAT in ways to help us and them.
To what extent I don't think any of us will ever truly know because we're not behind the scenes.

I respect your opinion. You've done well here, upgraded to a better truck and live in the same state of me which says a lot.
What you've added to this forum has helped me a lot.
I think we all can learn from each other or at very least compare different options and viewpoints which we normally wouldn't and even that is helpful in it's own way.

So just out of curiosity why do you care if nobody believes you? If your wallet is getting fat then that's the only thing that ultimately matters

    lol this is true.

To be honest though before I came here I didn't believe some of the numbers other drivers were saying.
I had my own preconceived notion that why would Schneider post good freight when they have company drivers that can pull it. I thought the choice board had to be the leftover board lol.
    Well I was wrong.
There's no way I would have come here without proof I was wrong.
Quitting a job and putting $5k down on a 3 year lease is a big commitment especially from a noobie like me.
There is cheap freight sure.. just like there's cheap freight at Landstar or anywhere else but there's a solid amount of good freight too.

It's all based on supply and demand like everything else. Lots of trucks, little freight, low rates. Few trucks, lots of freight, high rates. Basic economics.
