It is 520 miles in NJ-NY people, I dont care if he was empty and had zero stops the whole way. Running that many miles during business hours in that area is extremely difficult to pull off as is.
Start your day in Kearney, Nj at 8am and run circles around NJ-NY area and add in some city driving. You don't hit no 500+ miles. Might get lucky every now and then but you can't do that consistently even with zero stops.

If this guy would post his work assignments and logs to back it up and it showed him actually pulling this off day in and day out he deserves the supertrucker of the year award. I would shut up and bow down to him because he was done what I feel is impossible.

Leaving NJ heading to NY is only bad if you're going to NYC or the island. The rest of NY is just like anywhere else, at least that's been my experience in my 20 years out here. It is doable for a guy that knows the area. A new guy starting out isn't going to do it that easy but after awhile doing it, getting into a routine I can see it being done.

My last job I had I would run 545 miles a day, with 6 drop & hooks that were a minimum of 20 minutes to jump through there hoops to get the trailers & the fastest I did it was 9 hours & 45 minutes but on average it was a 10.5 hour day, sometimes a little more.

upstate is fine (expect for winter and maybe some mountains if heavy).
The driver said he leaves Kearny, NJ and comes back after load is done.
Whole different ball game than just running upstate New York.

Yes but he runs to upstate & back. If the drops are close like he says I can see it being done. In the end it doesn't matter if he's lying or not. Why people get so bent out of shape over such miniscule things I'll never know.

How's your two truck operation going? Still rolling along?

all this talk is miniscule I agree but I'm bored currently so why not the entertainment lol.
What I say or anybody doesn't really matter, road to nowhere unless this dude posts his logs.

    I'm okay, pushing forward.
