Truck is fine but I'm having more big problems with dealerships, I mean to the point where I've been lied to multiple times and had to unload on a manger today over the phone.
Holding back saying anything public but if they don't follow through asap I'm going to blast them here, the BBB and elsewhere.
All I will say now is do NOT go to any Kenworth of PA.

If it makes you feel any better, Freightliner (in any state that I've been to) ain't no better.

Yeah. Basically any dealership you go to will be an issue.

Although I will give a shout out to the Freightliner in Rochester, NY. They were straightforward and honest with me when I had my old truck in there at the beginning of last summer.

I had a recent issue with Houston freightliner and used their Facebook page to voice my displeasure about being told that motorhomes can schedule appt for schedules service but trucks no...I was emphatic that that was bs...I got a response in which I responded to that saying you'd cater to someone who doesn't want there vacation time minimized but cause a business owner to lose big $$...well they're response to that... Apologized and actually called me to say they will have a work order ready for me when I show up on the 4th...

Try Freightliner in Monroe, Mi. I-75 exit 15. Excellent. Service Manager is Scott. As for Kenworth, Kenworth of Eastern Michigan, Clinton Township, Excellent. Service manager Joe.

The biggest ongoing issues involve the DPF system. About once a year I have to replace or repair some component of the system......Dozier valve 2 years ago, new filter last year and this year something with the ECM. Other than that, just normal stuff like brakes, wheel bearings, etc......norml wear and tear stuff

Last had the wiring harness replaced on both sides (ecm to the connector and from the connnector to I guess a module on the filter unit itself.). Corrosion.

Just had the ecm side replaced on monday, again. Less than 12 months.

I don't think anything can be worse than this.
