I see early retirement for you . Money minded . Not emotional
-
I need some of your luck.. The rates suck
Home_on_wheels and Jonkie Thank this. -
Idk, you hear/read so much conflicting s#*t about Choice, it's hard to know what is true, what's false and what is just someone who would complain if they were handed $5/mi freight everyday lol. $2.30/mi would more than do well with my business plan!

I was with LS too for a year I feel you , Ricky

Oh I'm emotional... when I'm left to haul to cheap freight in an old 9 series trailer
mxpx148 Thanks this. -
I don't blame you for not knowing what's the truth from fiction...too many folks like blow smoke..lolmxpx148 Thanks this.

Ha ha . See that's why I locked in a 1.50 minimum . It's not stellar but I don't have to cringe before I see the rate quote
mxpx148 Thanks this. -
Well unlike most i actually posted screenshots of my statements and loads when I got endlessly called out to prove it.
Now people mostly leave me alone lol.
Don't worry, I'm sure ill be under $2 all miles for the week once i leave orlando. All $0.80- $0.90 loads out of there.
If you wanna know nunbers... guys running the Northeast that live there ive seen a few average in the $1.90s for the year.
I mainly stay in the Midwest and average in the $1.70s to $1.80s.
Bare in mind these are all mainly shorter loads. A long load for me is 400 miles. Also what i and others pull off doesn't mean anybody else will.
I use to have many weeks over $2 but pssh that dont happen anymore.mxpx148 Thanks this. -
I hear about great rates, then I hear about terrible rates. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with freight lanes and distances people run as well also, but you don't get the whole picture from just reading posts. I ran reefer for percentage starting out, and I saw how freight lanes/distance affect rates a lot. I.E., pulling loads from PA to say Wisconsin would usually pay garbage(.90-1.15/mi), where a load from VA to Long Island would usually run in the 3.00+ range. Short hauls were usually a bit better than my 1000 mile hauls also, again depending on lanes.
