    This state is pretty but redicuous.
    Traffic all the time and everything is expensive.
    I went to a food store to buy some stuff and they charge you while checking out for each bag they put your items in.

    I'm surprised they didn't strip you and throw you into the street for public humiliation since you had the audacity to go into a store and not bring your own totes! ...God I'm glad I left there long ago.

    It's amazing how everything is expensive out here BUT freight is cheap!

    It's a California law aimed at reducing trash in land fills...

    It's a California law aimed at raising more revenue. If less trash happens to find its way to the landfill, good, but money is the main motivator.
