Would someone be kind enough to give me an idea of how the load board looks with loads going into Central/South Florida? Obviously I know FL is a lame market getting out, I accept that I will likely need to BT North to get out but as far as getting in, are there any loads at all or are they just light?

Thanks very much for the help.

You won't get hired if you live in Florida.

Hired as a company driver or IC on choice? Either way I think you are incorrect, there are company driver jobs and IC positions in Florida right now.

So my question is the same, how are loads coming into FL?

actually, you'll do well going in, ($2+) but going out is in the $.80 range. Round trip you'll be ok, but you have to plan. A good bit of freight going to Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville. Hope this answers your question.

    JackMac Thanks this.

Yes that helps alot. I really don't mind taking the hit as long as it is now and then to get home. If I can get a .80 load out and a $2.00 load in it I can live with that.

    Thanks very much.

And the sign on the door says, "receiving hours 0800-1700". Purina, Alpo, Friskies....... shouldnt matter what is being delivered.

Jack, you know you asked about the load board, rates, and this is an ic thread, right? Company positions are different, I was referring to ic. Just a polite FYI too.
