Everyone has to die. When your time is up it’s up. The numbers are so bastardized in the name of politics, they have no statistical value. Ever heard of Negative Liberty?
Picking up during covid?

This is the first time ever in my life even after all of the in depth oilfield safety training on PPE, having to be full respirator fit tested and also administering fit tests to employees, that I have to wear PERSONAL protective equipment to protect someone else and not myself. Guess we need to change the name of it. If you are really afraid of this and have other issues, you protect yourself or stay at home. As a driver, my only job to protect you is to not run you over with my truck. That’s it.
Oh yea. Anyone with a beard would fail even a dust mask fit test. So a useless cloth or surgical mask really doesn’t do much. Cough and sneeze into your elbow.
I have a rather large beard. I don’t wear a mask unless a customer asks me to. I won’t ruin my carrier’s customers relationships. I do not and will not wear one out in public. And I happily argue with anyone who wants to debate the issue. Facts that weren’t fed to me by the CDC or Fauci shuts people up real quick.
My girlfriend has a PHD in microbiology and immunology. She works in a lab trying to find cures for diseases. She has way more knowledge and training than a regular PC doctor and isn’t a government puppet. I listen to her before anyone. (Not that I need to because I have my own brain and common sense. But she’s good for verification. She has taught me a lot. LoL)
This virus is no different than any other illness. Some people can chain smoke and die old without cancer. Others die in their 50’s. Same with everything else. This isn’t a one size fits all disease. Not even close.
Stop believing the numbers and the garbage you are lied to about on TV and social media. Look what it’s done for the last few decades. Sad.
Covid is the new boogeyman. We always need something to be afraid of.
These are just my feelings/opinions. Luckily we are all feee to do as we please and that’s how I will continue to live.nredfor88, Cowboyrich, LTL Bull and 3 others Thank this. -

Since I went local a month ago my shippers and receivers are much smaller companies. I’m running go to many that won’t let you in the building and won’t talk face to face. Must call in and get instructions. But someone will bring the paperwork. I guess the virus pauses while the paperwork transaction is done lol. ( yes I know they are trying to avoid most in person contact)
Sitting at one now and I have to pee really bad. There is a porta potty next door but I ain’t walking. Guess I will get rid of this monster on the side of their building.Speed_Drums and CargoWahgo Thank this. -
UPDATE: I lied. Number 2 snuck up on me so I had to walk. Can’t bring myself to drop that on a customers property. Well, at least not this customer LOL

This country is now so mentally ill that its like everyone expects to live forever unless covid kills them.
If you get covid and die, that's not my problem. I have an awesome immune system so I'll take my chances. Its been a year. If this thing could kill me, surely it would have done so by now.
Americans don't give a crap about their health, as evidenced by the rates of obesity and the fact that the #1 restaurant is McDonald's. Before covid, what percentage of the population was already on the verge of death?
If I'm responsible for public health, step #1 is no more sodas and no more french fries. You may have a hamburger or cheeseburger, but no fries and no drink. You may not have any candy bars from the truck stop. And you #### sure aren't going to be allowed to smoke cigarettes.JoeyJunk Thanks this. -

I thought there has been more handling of paperwork and all at the guard shacks?
I was working wallyworld distribution. Went to get my truck washed. Came back. Guard asked all the usual questions etc. I answered: Oh Yes! All of those! I just went to the truck wash!
I tell everyone. Just under their sign on the door that says: Masks Required.
They need another sign that says: Because you is ugly.nredfor88 Thanks this.
