Exactly right, as he should have been kicked out of the country years ago (IMHO) but wasn't.

LOL, I think it's normally OK to use that over on the politics thread.

On a related note, there’s another case that was just in the news:

Truck driver’s appeal asks: Is taking blood constitutional in fatal OUI cases?
Maine's highest court wrestles with warrantless blood draws as a driver convicted in a double-fatal crash claims unreasonable search and seizure.”
You might remember seeing his name: Randall Weddle.

In the video, this dude was higher than a cootie bird, dancing around while he was talking to the cops. Plus a rollover. Plus a couple DUIs. Plus a ticket in Iowa. All in under a year, and still driving.

@Chinatown, I'm thinking you could learn a thing or two from this kid about how to help people get trucking jobs after they dirty up their record some.

This kid is obviously a bad egg and should have been taken into custody, held (due to the seriousness of the charge(s) and being from out of state), and, after his subsequent criminal adjudication, if convicted (big if), held by INS to face a subsequent deportation hearing and then deported... He never should have been allowed to continue to drive, anything, period....Problem is, most people when arrested these days are arraigned and released, as jailing them costs too much. Illegals/UDA's, and some like him (GCH), are given an NTA (notice to appear)for a future court date by INS/ICE, but of course, they never do re-appear, until they do something really bad, like what this kid did....Unfortunately, this bad egg, along with the broke criminal justice (injustice) & immigration system, along with the lack of co-operation and over sight between States, let alone Federal agencies, is a big problem...

Furthermore, this bad egg, along with others like him, give the good immigrant drivers a bad name.

In retrospect, as a U.S citizen with a CDL, let your medical card inadvertently expire and watch what happens...The hypocrisy is glaring, truck on......
