Hi! I’ve been watching this forum for years, but never posted anything before so forgive me if this isn’t the proper place We’ve been hiring pilot cars for years for our longer runs and just Running our own pilot rigs for some of the short local stuff cause we’re only 16 wide. We’re looking to set up legit and get two pilot cars Certified. But I’m wondering about the insurance requirements! What do you guys pay a month for the liability and omission insurance?? I’m having trouble finding a good provider.

I don’t know what it cost for a pilot car, but I do know that it has to be commercial insurance. Have you tried asking your insurance company that covers your trucks?

I tried, but it didn’t seem like any of them knew their stuff! I’ll have to do a bit more digging and see what I can come up with! They all wanted to do liability, but I need the errors and omissions coverage,
