Everyone has an opinion and unless it's idiotic I respect it .

 

I'm a Navy vet and I'll shop where I want to. NFL players are a bunch of wusses with muscles.
Majority of atheletes and movie actors suffer from Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

 

Okay? I'm sorry for your loss. That's gotta be the worst kind of life changer for any parent and I can understand that due to the circumstances, your feelings on the issue are probably more personal than others. That doesn't make the flag anything other than a symbol though. Its not a deity to be worshipped.

What's it about?

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people, and people of color," Kaepernick said in a press conference after first sitting out during the anthem. "To me, this is bigger than football, and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street, and people getting paid leave, and getting away with murder."

He/they have a platform most people are never afforded and they're using it as they see fit.

Thank you replying in a calm and understanding manner. I support the players right to protest, just disagree with the method.

As for that Kaepernick guy, do not agree with him and hold him in contempt.
