The thing that just absolutely insults my intelligence about the one here in Phoenix is that they can't even keep the corndogs at the ready during the daytime hours!!!!

They make 6 at a time, sell them in minutes, then always have to make another 6, so some poor, dumb, sob has to wait 10 minutes.

I guess that begs the question: Which is more unappealing to the general public: An announcement that a shower is ready? Or eight 'sweaty sasquatches' lingering on the sales floor with their duffle bags and shower sandals?

 

Idk, I kinda like the eye candy of the "civilian" drivers, or passengers.

 

Don t you just love it when you stop at a Pilot to get fuel and something to eat, and here comes a greyhound or any other bus full of people at the same time?

 

It is clear that the fuel discount debacle has hurt them enormously. Loves is opening up 40 locations a year for the indeterminate future, will have more locations than PFJ by the end of 2018. If PFJ doesn't do something big and fast they are going to wind up like Union 76, who was the 500 lb gorilla in that biz until they just stopped investing in facilities. TA bought the locations at a deep discount because they were so rundown.

 

Hey Flying J instead of making the company bigger how about making the actual truck stop and parking bigger especially the ones in Phoenix AZ and Aurora CO.
